Introduction: There has been no report on the effect of epilepsy on liver enzymes and lipoproteins and its changes following exercisetraining in epileptic rats with Pentylenetetrazole. Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, 70 male rats were placed in 7 groups. An intact group, three groups of Kindle and three groups of non-Kindle who received PTZ or normal saline injections every 48 hours until the animals were kindled. 24 hours after Kindling, blood samples were collected in intact group and two groups of Kindle and non-Kindle. One Kindle group and one non-Kindle group from the remaining four groups performed aerobic exercise for six weeks, and the other two groups were inactive for six weeks. Blood were collected 24 hours after the 6-week period, and were compared with control groups. Results: After 4 weeks of Kindling period, total cholesterol, triglycerides, low-density lipoprotein, liver enzymes (P <0.001) and antigenic coefficient (P <0.01) increased significantly in the epileptic group. After six weeks of aerobic exercise in Kindle animals; Triglycerides (P <0.001), liver enzymes (P <0.01) and antigenic coefficients significantly reduced, and high-density lipoprotein significantly increased (P <0.01). Conclusion: The results showed that aerobic exercise in epileptic rats with Pentylenetetrazole improved lipid profile impairement and increased liver enzymes caused by epilepsy.

Background: Flowers aromatic compounds are the major inhaled allergens. The aim of this research was the comparison of petals allergenicity of in two ontogenetic stages, middle-aged and older of Cytisus scoparius; and Identifying dependence of allergenicity with developmental stages of extremely aromatic petals.
Materials & Methods: In order to evaluate the petals allergenicity, 18 Hartley guinea pigs were randomly selected and divided into three equal groups. 16% petals buffered extracts were prepared and then subcutaneous injection of extracts and also macroscopic examinations was performed. In order to confirm the petals allergenicity, immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels was measured using ELISA method, and the number of eosinophils and finally blood glucose in guinea pig blood samples was evaluated. Data were analyzed in SPSS16 software using independent t-test.
Results: In guinea pigs treated with middle-aged petal extract, IgE, eosinophil count and also blood glucose significantly increased in comparison to control group, whereas in guinea pigs treated with older petal extract, there was no significant difference between the treatment and control groups. Background: Cytisus scoparius is an ornamental and highly aromatic plant. The petals and stamens in aromatic plants are important allergenic agents. The aim of this study is examination study of allergenicity of petal and stamen in middle-aged ontogenical stage of Cytisus scoparius L. in guinea pig.
Methology: In this experimental study, 9 guinea pigs from hartly stirps were randomly selected and divided into three equal groups. Plant extracts were prepared with 16% concentration and injected intraperitoneally to guinea pigs.The first group was considered as negative control (injected with phosphate buffered saline). The second and the third groups received petal extract and petal + stamen extract respectively. In addition intraperitoneal injections within 4 weeks, once per week, subcutaneous injection was performed in the fifth week. Finally, a week after the last injection was taken blood sampling directly from the heart of animals, and the number of eosinophils, immunoglobulin E and blood sugar levels were measured in experimental groups and analyzed data.
Results: Skin test (Created wheal diameter) and serological tests (levels of immunoglobulin E, eosinophils, and blood glucose) in both groups treated with Cytisus scoparius L. significantly increased compared to controls. Electrophoretic profiles was observed about 4 protein bands (2 light protein bands and 2 pale protein bands) in the range of 27 to 85 kD in the middle-aged petal and about 6 more specific protein bands in the range of 10 to 75 kD in middle-aged petal whit stamen proteins.
Conclusion: The results showed that petal of ontogenical stage of middle-aged in Cytisus scoparius have allergenicity property and and this effect is exacerbated when they are together with stamens.
